![]() In Madera, California, 2 police officers came upon a recently-stolen car on March 14. As they got closer to the vehicle, someone who looked like a Hispanic or Caucasian man took off on foot. He was faster than the officers, and he eluded them, but a witness nearby told the officers where the fleeing man lived. When the police arrived at the house, the man bolted out of a window, holding something in his hand. He eluded them again! Searching the area, the officers saw a black man, but something appeared strange about him. Confused, the police approached the black man. After questioning him, they knew they had found their man! He was identified as Jose Espinoza. A can of black spray paint - which Jose had used to paint his head and face - was found nearby! And the keys to the stolen car were found in his pocket! ![]() Because of recent burglaries at a Florida storage facility, Boca Raton police regularly patrolled the area. On March 4, police spotted a car parked near the facility, and told the female driver she had to move. Shortly afterwards, a suspicious-looking man with a backpack approached the officers, who were still at the site. He asked them if they knew where the woman was, because that was his ride. The police identified the man as James Reed. They searched his backpack, and discovered that James had stolen stuff from a "broken-into" storage unit. The officers were baffled, but glad for the easy arrest! On March 18, a 16-year-old boy went inside a random unlocked Miami house, ate a Pop Tart, drank some soda, and used the homeowners' iPad. He left before the homeowners arrived, but the teen was easily identified and arrested. How? The boy was still logged on to his Facebook page on the iPad!
