ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Jonathan Ray, 23, was very perplexed on November 28. He knew that his mother had just made some delicious posole (or pozole) and he was hungry. (Posole is a Mexican dish and is similar to a soupy stew.) He texted her, saying he was hungry and coming over to eat. She wasn't home at the time, but knew that Jonathan was craving her posole. She was saving that for a special occasion and texted back, telling him to stay away. It was a race to her house. She came through the front door as Jonathan came through the back door. He headed straight for the fridge, grabbed the pot of posole, and darted out. This was not the first time he had done something like this, and now she'd had enough! She called the police and pressed burglary charges against her own son. He was immediately arrested, but not until he had eaten his fill of the posole!

EDGEWATER, FL - Jasper Harrison, 47, heard a helicopter over the storage unit he was in and turned himself in. He had been growing marijuana in the unit illegally and when he heard the helicopter, he quickly called 911 and surrendered. He did not want to get shot or go through any other altercations. The police soon arrived and arrested him. But the helicopter belonged to a news agency that was on a different assignment nearby, and had nothing to do with Jasper. The only thing to catch him was his own guilty conscience!

LATROBE, PA - Joshua Jording, 26, broke into a business he used to work for. He tried to keep his cover, knowing that there were security cameras around the building. But when the police reviewed the video, something stood out. Joshua was wearing a sweatshirt with his name "Josh" embroidered on it. He was easily identified and was arrested soon afterwards.

SARASOTA, FL - Darerol Lowery, 53, grabbed a 73-year-old woman's purse at a "dollar" store and started to leave the store. She grabbed the purse back and kicked him straight in the groin! He had messed with the wrong old lady! Lowery fled but the police quickly found him, since he was in a little pain. He also had an outstanding warrant from a separate incident.

BOLIVAR, TN - The students at Bolivar Central High knew that sagging pants were not allowed. School Deputy Charles Woods reprimanded several students many times. Two students who wouldn't comply got a lesson in law this past November... they were charged with indecent exposure and sent to jail. After spending a couple of days in the "slammer" and facing $250 each in fines, maybe they will listen now! Many communities around the nation are banning saggy pants. If the pitiful dressers knew how ridiculous and offensive they looked, perhaps they'd stop!

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL - Anna Preston was rear-ended by a black car which sped off, and no one saw the license plate. The hit-and-run driver seemed to have gotten away with it. The police checked the 911 calls at that time to see if they could get any leads. Some newer cars have a feature which calls 911 automatically when in an accident. The police tracked one call to Cathy Bernstein, who denied that anything had happened. But after an investigation, Bernstein confessed to the hit-and-run. She had activated the 911 call system in her Ford Focus prior to the accident, but didn't realize that it could work against her!

WICHITA FALLS, TX - Timothy Norris, 27, went to pay his $600 property tax bill at the county tax office. The tax collector on duty refused to take the cash because it was 600 $1 bills all tightly folded. It would have taken hours to unfold them. An officer nearby told Norris to leave, but he refused unless they would take the money. After he resisted arrest for criminal trespassing, his troubles multiplied. He went to jail and was released on $500 bail.
