Johnny Bee, from Indianapolis, loves his pet dog, a boxer named Bobby. They always spent a lot of time together enjoying each other's company. That all changed last Christmas. Someone took his dog on Christmas Eve. That was not a merry Christmas for Johnny! He was just hoping Bobby was okay and that he would have his beloved pet home soon, since the dog had tags.
Months passed by and Johnny's hopes were fading. By October he had lost all hope. But in November, on the other side of town, someone reported a stray dog. Indianapolis Animal Care and Control picked up the dog, like they do around the area on a daily basis. Could it be Bobby?! The dog had no collar or tags, so they checked the dog for a microchip, and bingo! They contacted Johnny Bee right away, and he rushed to the center. Apparently, Bobby had escaped but needed help in finding his owner.
Finally the two were reunited. Oh, happy days! Johnny was so glad that he had gotten a microchip for Bobby. It was the best $10 he had ever spent! When interviewed, Johnny said, "I'm the happiest man in Indianapolis!" One thing for sure... this year Johnny and Bobby will have one very merry Christmas!
