Seth Miller knows what it feels like to be unwanted. Put up for adoption when he was just a toddler, Seth experienced the pain of rejection not just once, but several times. Again put up for adoption when he was still very young, Seth suffered through a hurtful second failed attempt to find a family. The next ten years were unhappy ones for the growing boy who was shuffled from one foster home to another. Then at 18, Seth aged out of the system and found himself homeless. After nearly a year of living out of his car, Seth wanted only one thing - a family of his own.
Then something happened that would change Seth's life. A local news channel ran a piece on the teen without a home, and incredibly one of the people that saw the story was Seth's very own sister! Unlike her brother, Cheyenne had found a happy home when she was adopted by Robert and Ara Hunt and welcomed into their family.
When Cheyenne's family heard of Seth's situation, they lost no time in inviting him over for Thanksgiving. Sitting at the dinner table with the first family he had known since he was a little boy, Seth cried. He continued staying on with the Hunt family, but it took some time for him to get used to the feeling of actually being wanted by someone.
Seth decided to change his name to Logan Hunt, and exactly a year after their first meeting, Logan and his new family stood in the Collin County courtroom to make the adoption official. "From the first time I saw the interview, I knew he was a part of our family," Robert Hunt told the judge. "We're just doing this to make it legal. He's our son." Finally, Logan has the one thing he's always wanted - a true family.
