Then something happened that would change Seth's life. A local news channel ran a piece on the teen without a home, and incredibly one of the people that saw the story was Seth's very own sister! Unlike her brother, Cheyenne had found a happy home when she was adopted by Robert and Ara Hunt and welcomed into their family.
When Cheyenne's family heard of Seth's situation, they lost no time in inviting him over for Thanksgiving. Sitting at the dinner table with the first family he had known since he was a little boy, Seth cried. He continued staying on with the Hunt family, but it took some time for him to get used to the feeling of actually being wanted by someone.
Seth decided to change his name to Logan Hunt, and exactly a year after their first meeting, Logan and his new family stood in the Collin County courtroom to make the adoption official. "From the first time I saw the interview, I knew he was a part of our family," Robert Hunt told the judge. "We're just doing this to make it legal. He's our son." Finally, Logan has the one thing he's always wanted - a true family.
