![]() Do you know who the oldest person to compete in this year's Olympic Games is? He is a prince of German royalty, who lives in Austria but competes for Mexico! His name is Prince Hubertus Von Hohenlohe. He turned 55 in February and is now the second oldest Winter Olympian ever. He was born and raised in Mexico City until age 4 and only visits Mexico a few weeks a year. Prince Hubertus founded the Mexican Ski Federation in 1981 where he was the only skier. He first competed in the 1984 Winter Olympics and has continued for 30 years. But this is really strange... he is the only one that represents Mexico in the Winter Olympics. Prince Hubertus is a one-man Olympic team! He has been noted as the most interesting Olympian and a lot of people like him. He never wins a medal but that doesn't matter to him; he just wants to do his best... and to show off his fashionable suits!
