On December 10, a six-year-old boy named Hunter was suspended from school for kissing a girl. It wasn't on the lips, but on her cheek and hand. The girl did not object, but other students did and told the teacher. To make matters worse, a criminal harassment charge was made. Harassment? Calm down! Hunter was only 6 years old. He did not even know what such a charge meant!
Should Hunter obey the rules? Yes. Should he be suspended? I say no, but that is up for debate. Should there be a criminal harassment charge against him? Absolutely not!! Hunter said, “They sent me to the office, fair and square. I did something wrong and I feel sorry." After a couple of days, his case was reviewed and all charges were dropped.
So kids, follow the rules. And adults, take a chill pill, count to ten... and calm down!
