Gus Andreone of Sarasota, Florida loves playing golf and is currently the oldest member of the PGA. He was added to the record books last month. On December 17, Gus, while playing at Palm Aire Country Club, made a hole-in-one on the 14th hole. So how old is Gus? 103 years old!
Who did Gus pass for the record? That was Harold Stilson, who in 2001 sunk a hole-in-one when he was 101 years old! But Gus also passed Elsie McLean, who in 2007 made a hole-in-one when she was 102!
Gus has been playing golf for over 75 years and has no intention of slowing down, playing several times every week. He said, "I am going to play golf as long as I can." Gus even said that he might beat his own record. And you know, he just might do it!

Richard Fipps, 46, of Wyoming, was shot in the arm on December 15, by his best friend. Richard said that it was an accident and the sheriff agreed, but the shooter won't say anything. That's because the shooter is a dog! Doggone it! I mean, dog done it! Richard's dog stepped on the trigger of the rifle, which was lying in the back of Richard's pickup. The safety was off! If you own a gun make sure to keep the safety on!

Last month there was a serious shortage in Japan but steps were taken in rationing the supply to curb the panic. What was all the fuss about? French fries! McDonald's issued emergency measures by restricting orders to small-size only and placing a limit of one per customer. McDonald's imported over 1,000 tons of frozen fries by air and 1,600 tons by sea to try to limit the casualties! It seems that people just cannot live without their fries!
