The government usually loves whistle-blowers but not when it's the government's cover that's getting blown! Read on. There is an Obama Healthcare processing center in Wentzville, Missouri. Where? That's right, Wentzville. Anyway, a company called Serco is running the operation since it was awarded the $1.2 Billion contract. Have you ever heard of Serco? Neither have I. They are a British-owned company! Are you kidding me? There are many companies here in the States that could have gotten that, but, NO, the government awarded it to Serco instead.
Over a billion dollars! For what?! Mainly to hire workers to handle the paper applications. That is why one ex-employee turned whistle-blower. Do you know why? Because he was upset at what was going on... or I should say, what was not going on.
According to the unnamed employee, sometimes weeks would pass with many employees not doing anything. Serco's goal is for workers to process two applications... per month! Not 2 per hour or even per day, but 2 per month! And some employees couldn't do that! They were told to just press the refresh key every 10 minutes. Serco gets money for every employee they hire, whether they do anything or not. The whistle-blower said that Serco tried to conceal the lack of work. You know... conceal the sham! It seems that Serco didn't care at all that they were ripping off the U.S. government, for tens of millions of dollars! It also seems that our government doesn't care! And why would they? It's not their money they're wasting... it's ours!
