Now that the Paris attacks are behind us, what is really going on? Just a day before the awful and devastating attacks in the heart of France, President Barack Obama, in an interview with George Stephanopoulos, said that ISIS (or ISIL) was contained. He specifically said, "We have contained them." That turned out to be totally wrong. But Dan Kimmel, a Democrat from Minnesota contending for a seat in the state house, was way out of line. Knowing that ISIS had killed or injured hundreds of civilians, Kimmel went on Twitter. His ignorant tweet said, "ISIS isn't necessarily evil. It is made up of people doing what they think is best for their community." Does he really believe that?! Has he totally lost it?! For the record... YES, ISIS is absolutely evil! And NO, they are not doing what is best for their community! This is beyond ignorant. His tweet is in the stupid zone.
There was such a backlash from Republicans and Democrats alike, that Kimmel ended his campaign - and his Twitter account - within hours of his unfortunate, sympathetic tweet. Remember to think before you put anything on Twitter - it goes out to the world. If someone has dumb thoughts, they shouldn't make dumb tweets!
What about the other ISIS sympathizers out there? Sympathize with the victims and their families! Sympathize with the millions of people who have been affected by these cowardly acts of terror! Sympathize with the millions of peaceful Muslims who are frustrated, even angry, concerning these cold brutish radicals! Sympathize with the many Christians and other people who are in danger of this radical hate!
15-25% of the approximately 1.5 billion Muslims in the world are radical Muslims. That is about 200-300 million Islamic extremists worldwide. Think about it. There are 200-300 million radicals dedicated to the destruction of America and Western civilization. That's a huge number! Yes, there are many more peaceful Muslims than not, but we have to concentrate on those who want to cause us harm. These radical Muslims want us wiped out. Dead.
I'm glad that the new Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, is taking a strong stand about the Syrian refugees not coming directly here. Ryan said that it's all about safety. He's right. ISIS was able to infiltrate France because of relaxed safety measures. They want to do the same here. Remember 9/11?! I know you do. Those 9/11 terrorists were able to infiltrate our society and blend in. We even trained them how to be pilots! How absurd! We should never forget what happened or how it happened.
When a Russian airplane fell to its demise because of an ISIS soda can bomb, Russia vowed to do something about it. That's one thing about Russia and Putin... they're not going to be pushed around. There is not a lot of political correctness going on over there! Russia is attacking ISIS cell spots during the day because they don't care what others think or say. France is now taking a strong military stand after being soft for so many years. Many experts believe that there are ISIS terrorists living in America right now. We can't allow more of these radicals to come here. The same thing that happened in Paris could easily happen here in Chicago, New York, Washington DC, or some other city.
Gather up all the political correctness in the land and throw it in the trash. (And while you're at it, put all the racial correctness junk with it!) Did you ever see those "coexist" bumper stickers on cars? They're a farce! Yes, we in the U.S. want to coexist and "all get along", but it will never happen! Never! Remember: There are millions of loud radicals who want us either converted or dead!
